Advanced Combat Tracker can not find (Kubuntu) Directory

Excuse me Please:

I am attempting to make use of the latest edition of Advanced Combat Tracker (ACT) on Kubuntu 2204 with CO 2350.
My question is as follows;
How can I get the windows program ACT to see the directory:

/home/%USERNAME%/.var/app/com.valvesoftware.Steam/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/common/EverQuest2/logs/Maj'Dul/

where-in is located the log files saved by EQII within the Steam implementation on Linux.

Attempts to paste the full text of the path into ACT settings,
ACT complains that "the directory can not be found."

This, even after having reversed the all / with the windows-expected \ slashes.

Thank you for the time taken to reply.
