So, I'm new to Crossover, so I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong here, but I've installed Crossover v19.0.1 on my macOS Catalina MacBook.
I successfully used CrossOver to install the Notepad++ package, and I can open it. It seems to function okay, except for the fact that it's absurdly slow.
Like, I write a sentence in it, and it takes 10 seconds for those characters to appear on the screen -- usually with the entire sentence appearing all at once (i.e. not character-by-character).
Interestingly, if I move to another screen in Notepad++ which has a text field (e.g. typing a filename in the 'Save As' box), I can type normally. It's only obviously an issue when you're actually using it as a text editor.
This happens with both the version of Notepad++ Crossover installs automatically (v7.8.1), but also if I upgrade it to the latest stable (v7.8.2) via an auto-update inside Notepad++ itself.
Is anyone else seeing this? Am I missing something obvious?
